SMLib SMLib Our flagship product built upon TSNLib provides fully functional non-manifold topological structure and solid modeling functionality including the ability to perform NURBS boolean operations, fillets, etc.
TSNLib TSNLib Built on top of GSNLib supporting trimmed surface representations.
GSNLib GSNLib A basic curve and surface NURBS library. GSNLib provides a useful interface to NLib while adding value as well. Includes curve/curve and surface/surface intersection and polygon modeling.
NLib NLib A comprehensive BSpline NURBs library fully supporting curves, surfaces, and volumes with an extensive set of shape query and construction tools.
VSLib VSLib Provides deformable modeling as part of a library using the constrained optimization techniques of the calculus of variations. The library supports several very different geometric operations.
SDLib SDLib Subdivision surface source code library that creates and modifies complex shapes with hierarchical Catmull-Clark surfaces.
PolyMLib PolyMLib Polygonal based geometric modeling to repair, optimize, review and edit triangle mesh models. Analyze surface properties, repair and optimize surface meshes.
Data Translators Data Translators NURBS based geometry translators to interface between Nlib, GSNLib, TSNLib, SMLib and IGES, STEP, SAT, VDAFS, OpenNURBS, and Parasolid XT.

| New Releases in 2011 |
 |
Solid Modeling Solutions this year released versions 8.3 and 8.4 of their suite of geometry libraries. These releases included bug fixes and the following improvements:
- Greatly improved tessellation performance due to new memory management model.
- Enhanced AssertValid database diagnostics to support fine grain error reporting
- Improved algorithms for cloud of point fitting
- Completed Unicode compliance
- Modified Gordon surface fitting algorithms to support closed curves
- Resolved OpenGL issues
- Improved blended surface curvature functionality
- New swept-surface functionality for multiple profiles and rails
- Added support for non-Windows multithreading
- Enhanced user interface test facility
- Revalidated compatibility on 64-bit architectures
- Substantial new versions of all data translators
- Continued enhancements to documentation, examples, and interface functions to continue increasing ease of use of the libraries.
We continue to supply SDLib, our subdivision surface library, as an optional part of SMLib licenses at no additional cost. Subdivision surface capabilities are especially useful in graphical applications. It gives our users the ability to easily model complex shapes with hierarchical Catmull-Clark surfaces.
We continue to schedule two or three releases per year with enhanced functionality, improved performance, and better overall reliability and robustness of the kernels. |
| Plans for 2012 |
 |
As a result of feedback from our customers, we have developed plans for the coming year that will lead to more robust and capable kernels as well as added functionality in our geometry applications.
Our plans for 2012 include the following:
- AssertValid will continue to be expanded to detect more error conditions and to support graphical displays of reported problems.
- New and more rigorous tolerance modeling
- Improved Boolean operations
- Gordon patch improvements
- Database diagnostics, repair, and healing functionality
- Multithreaded OpenCL implementation
