Solid Modeling Solutions - Year End Report

Solid Modeling Solutions has had a very successful year. We now own and have the exclusive distribution rights for NLib; we now have the exclusive marketing and distribution rights for GSNLib and TSNLib; we have successfully integrated four levels of our libraries into one integrated and consistent architecture (see diagram below); we have increased the data translation capabilities to include SAT and OpenNURBS formats; we have expanded and improved our documentation; we modernized and updated our website; and we had a very good year in supporting an expanding set of world-wide customers. Visit our website at www.smlib.com for more details.

NLib™ - an advanced geometric modeling kernel based on NURBS curves and surfaces.

GSNLib™ - an advanced geometric solver kernel based on NLib with curve/curve and surface/surface intersection capabilities.

TSNLib™ - an object-oriented software toolkit which provides a set of objects and corresponding methods to create, edit, query, and analyze NURBS based trimmed surface representations.

SMLib™ - an advanced geometric modeling kernel based on NURBS curves and surfaces combined with a fully functional nonmanifold topological structure and solid modeling functionality.

Data translators - NURBS-based geometry translator libraries, with interfaces for the NLib, GSNLib, TSNLib, and SMLib family of products, including IGES, STEP, VDAFS, SAT, and OpenNURBS capabilities.

More details can be found on the SMS website at www.smlib.com/products.html, by contacting Robert Blomgren, VP of R&D, Solid Modeling Solutions, at (206) 463-1417, or by sending an email to sales@smlib.com.

Happy Holidays to all
